Its funny. Ive seen my family (my first memory is my mother and her sister) call each other family yet Ive seen them turn on each other like a bunch of wild dogs. Cut family out of their life like no big deal. Point fingers when they have their own skeletons in their closets. And sadly teaching their children to treat family the same way. I dont care if youre a Christian family or not if you treat family like they are expendable THAT is a SIN. And Satan is very much living in your heart and behind your walls. Some would NEVER say the words Im sorry even when they know they were wrong. Or just say Im sorry to end the conflict no matter who is right or wrong. Why....because they think they are never wrong. So many take families for granted. I never have because I never had a family growing up. Oh yes, I had siblings but constant conflict between us. Now they wouldnt know if I died and I wouldnt know if they did. But as a pastor told me once satan can and does allow conflicts and strive to continue on through the generations and that is a sin. And we are either weak or just dont care to stop him. Im sorry, I dont usually post things like this. But when I hear of a 19 and 15 yr old that get hurt from family it breaks my heart. People are not around forever. I know only God loves unconditionally but I think he expects better of us. To me the break up of families and Im not just talking about divorce is part of what is destroying our country. When families judge and divide how can we expect countries to get along? Family...always supposed to be there...love one another....Ive learned to live with it, didnt think I would but it is what it is....but heart breaking to see it already happening in the next generation.
