$53k Kickstarter debacle... A warning for those a little too eager to back projects from every Tom, Dick and Harry, etc. Read the guys response on [reluctant] refunds. Its a kick... ;) Many of you on my feed surely noticed me helping an ole bud Christopher Obritsch regarding his videogame and the successful Kickstarter campaign he ran to fund it. This story right here is exactly why I was somewhat nervous in doing so... I wouldnt want to have been helping something marketing-wise that wound up failing to be accomplished down the road, etc... Thankfully his project is going well, so that concern was for naught. Anyway, yeah, looks like $53k went down the tubes on this failed project, so fair warning to those that are a bit too generous and trusting I guess...
