6 Things people may not know about me. Sarah Uphoff this is pretty hard considering this is like the go to ice breaker for everyone in Student Affairs, but I shall try. 1. I transferred from Texas A&M International University to Texas State in Spring 2010. I was a junior and the transfer caused me an extra year. I dont regret it though. 2. I did not realize Nuevo Laredo was in Mexico until about 6th grade. Well, more like I did not realize Mexico was a different country. See, in Laredo, you can throw a rock and it lands in Mexico. 3. My first language was Spanish. I started pre-k in an English immersion class and stayed in all English classes for the rest of k-12. Yet, I was considered an ESL student until 3rd grade because I changed elementary schools 4 times. 4. I do not know how to ride a bike, swim, or skate. 5. I love going to the movies. I love getting there early and picking my seat. 6. At some point in my life, I wanted to be parole officer.
