6 years ago today I received the worst news that anyone could ever receive!!! It was exactly a week after my 17th bday and I was planning on spending the night with my daddy when we both got off of work(since our work schedules did not allow us to spend time together for my birthday). But little did I know that night would not work out as planned. I was at my friend kelleys house when she got a phone call to bring me to my moms house asap and not to tell me anything that was going on just get me there... I knew by the look on kelleys face that it wasnt good. I paniced the entire way there!!! When I finally got to my moms house my entire family was there along with a police officer that helped me out of the car... he told me the that one thing that would break my heart forever! My dad had been on his way to work and he ran out of gas. He had walked to the gas station gotten gas walked back to his truck to fill the gas tank as he was doing that he was struck by three different VEHICLES!!!! the first one never even stopped!!!! the last two stopped but he was already gone there was nothing that they could do. Police never even charge the last two that hit him!!! Never found the 1st vehicle that hit him!!!! So his case still remains unsolved!!!! Noone realizes how hard it is to go out and deal with the public every day knowing that you could be dealing with the person that KILLED your father!!!! In my opinion they should be locked up for life just for the simple fact that they didnt have the heart to stop! Scared or not they should have stopped!!!! Exactly 5 years later (1 year today) My fathers mother also passed away!!! Forever daddys little girl!!!! Daddy I love and miss you soooooooooo much!!!! RIP daddy!!!!
