6 years ago today was the end of an era. 6 years ago today was the end of the summer of my life. The best 4 months in a show I had waited 11 years to be a part of. I had the honor of being the last Maureen on Broadway. It was special. It was a full circle moment. It will never EVER be taken for granted. We were a tight family. We still are. Carrying the legacy that is Rent. The responsibility of giving meaning and worth to this piece. Telling this story. It still weighs heavy on my heart and Jonathan’s words are and will always be a touchstone for me! “There’s only now, there’s only this, forget, regret or life is yours to miss. No other road, no other way, no day but today!”
