*7.0 9번 째 이야기....., 실제 시험에서 8.0을 받은 수험생의 Essay입니다. Essay 문제는 지난번 (8번 째이야기)에 올렸던 Essay들과 동일한 동물실험에 관한 찬반 문제입니다. 서론 부터 잘 작성했고 전체적인 구성과 전개 방식이 훌륭합니다. 영어는 말할 것도 없고요..... 지난 번 제가 올린 것보다 더 잘 쓴 것 같습니다. ㅠㅜ Research has lead to human evolution. There has always been a need to explore the boundaries of nature for the betterment of society. In order to achieve these results there have been sacrifices made, and unfortunately animals are a part of this. Animal testing is an integral part of medicinal research. Many of the diseases that had a high mortality rate have been diagnosed thanks to animal testing, For example rats share ample physiological and genetic similarities to humans. These studies benefit not only humans but help to treat diseases for animals as well who would not be able to diagnose and cure them. Scientists have great responsibilities for the betterment of society. We have already achieved great success in increasing human age as well as eradicating diseases which once would engulf the whole town as an epidemic thanks to results achieved from animal testing. With great power comes great responsibility and there has to be an emphasis made on the ethical issues of animal testing. There is immense animal testing done for creating cosmetics and other forms of products that are associated with vanity. These types of testings in my opinion are cruel and should be abolished. Hence to sum it up, animal testing is here to stay and would help research for generations to come, provided it is used for the correct cause. Written by 난일
