7 CARDINAL ,MISSION-MINDED OBJECTIVES(FUNCTIONS) OF THE CHURCH OF GOD. 1.The Gospel be effectively preached;Luke 24;44-49,Matthew 28;19-20 2.The lost be found,saved and healed; Jeremiah 16;16,Matthew 28;18-20,Luke 9;1-2,6,11-17,Luke 10;1-11,17,19-20,Matthew 10;1-14, 3.The believers be thoroughly trained(Discipled) and equipped; Ephesians 4;8-32,2 Timothy 2;23-26, Titus 2;1-10,15,Titus 3;14 4.The poor be effectively reached and served (ministered to) ,Spiritually and Physically;Matthew 10;6-8,Matthew 28;18-20,Mark 16;15-20,Luke 24;44-49,Acts 20;27-37,Acts 2;44-47 5.The lonely be properly enfolded (co-opted) into the community of christian believers;Matthew 10;6-8, 6.Transform communities,strengthen families,and change the world for God; Matthew 10;11-14,Acts 28;8-10 7.And God ,through Jesus Christ, gets all the credit for it all; 1 Corinthians 2;1-5 Psalm 24;1-2,Galatians 6;14 Brethren, check if your/ministry is pursuing and attaining these noble divine objectives;If it is not ,then there is a compelling need to,to pause,and allow the Holy Spirit to rebuild /reconstruct the fallen walls /cracks in the christian foundations of your church/ministry.Remember if the edge be broken, the serpent would bite hard to destroy and demean the grace of God in the life of the church. psalm 11;3 If it involves relocating from your present church or place of of worship please do,so you can win eternal life through Jesus Christ.
