7 of 12 police officers and firefighters, that were present at the brutal beating of a mentally ill young man, who subsequently died three days later, were placed on administratively leave, announced the inspection general of the police on Tuesday. Wilson Rock was in a hole at a construction site and did not want to get out at the request of law enforcement. Witnesses say bleach was poured onto Rock who began to climb out because of the burning, but although restrained at the hands and feet, possibly neck, police officers began to beat the man and drag him.
