8/3/2014 Race Report: I have to tell you all... this was the best day I have ever spent at a race track!!! And i have spent some time at them!! Three generations of family climbed on our karts today for some racing. From my wife Brenda Mema to her grandchildren to our daughter Tara to her sons and my grandsons to my niece to a hired gun from next door out of the Putnam camp. We had all the family and their boy friends turning wrenchs keeping 7 karts race ready! This was a awesome day!!! And we saw some of the best racing too all day!! Heres how it ended! Paris Darcy in the high flyin #26 3rd place Stock novice feature. Dominic Crawley Mr Big in the #77 2nd place Jr 1 feature. Kayden Crawley The Ice man in the #99 Winner!! Jr 2 R feature. Tyler Darcy The T Train in the # 84 5th place Jr 2 G Feature. Tara Darcy # 77 Powder puff race 3rd place Brenda Mema Darcy #84 Powder puff race 11th place Sharon Putnam #98 Powder puff race 6th place What a awesome day and great results!! Shout outs!! Move over Ken Tremont!! We may just have a new Sand lake slingshot amoung us!! And her name is Alyssia Sandchez!! She put on a move of the day in her high flyin purple #163 on the front two of Jordan Miller #38 and Stephanie St Pierre #25 like a flaming arrow up the middle and then drove to her 1st win of the 2014 season!!! That was awesome!! Congrats kid! Next goes to Kayden Crawley #99, Cordell Younger # 117 and Max Nolan in the #24 in the Jr 2 R feature. These three kids are locked up in point battle and they put on a driving clinic of driving and sportmanship today!! I know we came across 1st at the checkers but there were 3 winners today!! When i rounded the corner at the tech shack they were still high fivein each other and that is what this sport is all about!! Speed and Smiles! Dont ever let your kids forget this!! Lastly goes to my wife.. for climbing on a kart today!! That may have just made me fall more in love with you!! Your grandchildren sure got a hellva kick out of it!! And so did your Husband!! Special thanks goes to her wing man Sharon Putnam The Brainard Bullets mom for not backing out of the deal! Without you we may have not got her on one!! See everyone next week!
