8/4/2013: Last night, we ended up having only a few hours to observe before the clouds rolled in. However, we did re-calibrate the guide telescopes for Internet Observatory #1 and #3. We also took some test exposures for (132) Aethra. We will continue this effort and then run the main scripts for two asteroids beginning on the next clear night. For Internet Observatory #2, we are still troubleshooting problems with our new Paramount MX. The UND John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences has released its annual equipment funding request and we will be requesting an interline CCD camera for full-disk solar imaging as well as a second DayStar H-alpha filter. Both will eventually be used on Internet Observatory #2 to obtain both full-disk and high-resolution images of the solar chromosphere -- as well as streaming calibrated full-disk images onto the UND Observatory web site.
