8 months on, masters work on teacher grade posts 10/12/2014 10:46:34 PM Early Times Report Banihal, Oct 12: Eight months ago Promoted from teacher to Master grade, 1183 master grade teachers of Jammu province are still awaiting their postings. Reports said that Education Department promoted 1183 teaches in Jammu province to master grade in the month of February 2014 vide an order number. DSEJ/NG/PROM/7265-6d. Teachers having benefited with these promotions alleged that the Education Department has not ordered their new postings without any reason and they are still working on teacher grade posts at their own places. They said that due to delay in their new postings by the concerned department without any reason they are at loss. These teachers blamed that the from these promoted master grade teachers maximum of the teachers have completed their time bound promotion period after the month of February 2014. But the concerned department also did not gave them due promotion benefits under the time bound promotion. Around eleven hundred promoted Master grade teachers are angry over the inaction of the department. They appealed minister of education Tara Chand and Director school education Jammu for earlier orders of their posting before the model code of conduct which was going to be conducted before the assembly polls in the state.
