8 things about me you may not know: 1. I was born with a liver problem which made me really sick. Doctors said I would have to take tablets for the rest of my life but mum took me to a healing service and I got better. Here I am, 29 years of age and other than Glucosamine, vitamins and fish oil, I dont have to take anything daily. 2. I was 9 when I came to Australia from South Africa. I was asked by the kids at school whether I had elephants in my backyard. My response back? To ask them whether they had koalas in their tree house. 3. I share my birthday with another 6 people (or so) in my sphere. For 18 million people who share their birthday with you thats quite amazing. 5. Because I was so sick as a baby and was used as a human pin cushion, I am scared of needles. Nevertheless I would still shake all the way to the Red Cross, sit there nervously and donate. Until last year when they told me due to my fearful condition I am no longer able to. I am waiting for the day when I can donate again. 6. I conquer most things Im scared of. It started with upside down rides when I was little, and turned into a bucket list of skydiving and swimming with sharks. Ive done the first 2, as well as the giant swing, the leap of faith and abseiling down a 5m wall. Butterflies were definitely present but I did it! 7. I hate being shocked with a passion. Car doors, contacts with other people from dragging my feet..and even that little game where you dont know the shock is going to happen. Yep. 8. Rain reminds me of sleeping in, eating popcorn and having snuggles. In reality nowadays its dragging all my cleaning stuff around while getting soaked. 9. I talk so much that when asked to do 8 questions I just came up with a 9th one.
