8 years ago today my mom passed away after a long and terrible battle with A.L.S. My life has not been the same since. A few months after she died, I wrote a song called Hard. The words I expressed during those early stages of grief still ring true today. Living life without her has definitely been hard. There have been so many times Ive wished I could call her up and ask for her input (especially since having kids). She was an awesome mom and an even better person. Here is the song I wrote:
