THIS IS ONLY A PARTIAL LIST of those killed in known or suspected incidents of domestic and dating violence in the United States between (approximately) September 24, 2014, and (approximately) October 18, 2014. If known, we have also listed the incident location. This list contains 90 names, which translates to more than 3 people each day. PLEASE NOTE: By posting these lists, it is not our intention to minimize the tragedy of each individual death. We recognize that every single name on this list is a REAL human being, a person that leaves behind anguished family members, friends, and communities. We include the names of the alleged perpetrators because even those who commit these horrific crimes leave grieving family members behind. We post these lists as a reminder of how many people are impacted by domestic and dating violence, and of how frequently domestic and dating violence lead to death.
