97 Sc300 for sale. Platinum/Black interior, 241K, body pretty much perfect, Motor sounds good as new. Ill post video soon. I purchased this car as a potential parts car for the 97+ parts and the Black interior mainly. Driving it home from Jersey I really enjoyed it. Front end tight, motor spunky and the suspension was a wonderful vacation from my stiff (didnt relocate harness yet) BC Racing suspension on my 400. I was gliding over huge bumps without a care. The sound system sounds way better than mine, and mine is great. It was a really pleasant to drive but I didnt deviate from my plan to part it and drove it to my mechanics lot who was going to hold it for me and help me take the parts I want off of it and sell the rest. The next day he called me and said he refused to help me pull the car apart because it ran too well to pull apart (as he said). I have reconsidered and now I will sell it for someone to put another 100K or more on it. The bad stuff (I will mention tiny nitpick stuff people usually leave out): Drivers side window regulator (I may fix this, its cheap) AC Compressor (or just service/recharge) The little cap under the seat that restores fore and aft movement. The motor works fine. Tailpipe at least (you will have to peek at the rest of the exhaust, seems fine to me) Adjust or replace serpentine belt (it squeals, I may do this as well) The clear coat has a strange swirly texture to it. Almost like it was lightly sanded with a rotary. Not all white blotchy and peeled like some cars though, its passable for some time, not embarrassing. Tie rods maybe, I hear a little click when I go back and forth slowly but its not bad at all (I may have a spare set in storage) The interior is nearly perfect, no rips. A small separation in seam of drivers seat separated, not a rip, easily fixed. 2 tiny 1/4 inch cuts in door leather/vinyl easily fixed with kit in 10 min and wont be seen at all. I will include pics Price options: A) $2,600 With regulator and maybe seat movement fixed This includes Alpine head unit, Alpine amp, Sub in trunk, Rockford Fosgate capacitor thingie (super professional clean install with heavy wiring and proper grounding). I will still handle repairs. B) $2,400 with only Alpine head unit left from system. I will take amp, sub and capacitor in the trunk. I will still handle the repairs. C) $2,200 As is, with no sound system and no repairs. I am slightly negotiable with the options....... You can swap out the 97+ parts and the black interior for your tan 97- parts and still sell it for $2000 or drive it till the wheels fall off (which could be YEARS).
