For those of you that dont know why people are dumping buckets of ice water over their heads, The Ice Bucket Challenge is a way to recognize and support the cute for ALS. #ALS is a terminal disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord and eventually the motor neurons die and the ability of the brain and control muscle movement is lost. To learn more check out the website: alsa.org/ Theres a lot more you can do than just dump a bucket of ice water on your head, though! :-) Check out events such as walks and online funds to pay tribute to loved ones that are living or have passed from ALS.
