[ The present leadership enjoys the full trust and confidence by the large majority of its membership, and it was expressly manifested by an overwhelming support we got in the last election during the biennial convention in Cebu City. We have the legitimate mandate to promote the interest and the welfare of the organization and the duty to protect and uphold the Constitution and by-laws of the organization at all costs. We call upon the general membership to support this leadership in order to achieve its mission, vision and goals for the organization, and we plead upon all members to be more rational and responsible in the use of words and language against brothers and sisters in the social media. A host of non-members is using it, and it will be very costly for us to pay the price for contemptuous remarks. No matter what, let us bear with each other’s conduct more so in the public or in the social media. The freedom of expression must be exercised with cautions that it will not injure the right of others. Let us respect one another as brothers and sisters. Remember CAUSA LATET VEST EST NOTISSIMA. Finally, we are calling upon those who are willing to extend a helping hand for us to achieve our mission and goals for the betterment of our beloved Alpha Sigma Phi to now come into the open and be counted. Let us give peace a chance! If we succeed in this endeavor everybody will be benefited; but, if we fail everybody will suffer. So we appeal for your support, for sobriety and calmness and utmost understanding amidst these challenges. And we assure you that we shall try our very best shot towards the end our terms.
