A CHRISTOLIC MOMENT… The Kingdom! (Part 3) For whatever is born of God overcomes the world 1 John 5:4 Not only is the Kingdom a civilization of divine life forms, but it is also a realm that reproduces works that bear the nature of Christ. This is a key passage that deserves much attention. Notice, he didnt say whoever is born of God overcomes the world, but whatever! This gives us a clue as to the means of Kingdom living. Everything, and I repeat every-thing in the Kingdom must be born and not merely organized. One translation says it this way: Everything that has been fathered by God overcomes the corrupt world. Christ unpacks it this way: Then Jesus answered and said to them, Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; John.5:19 In other words the cause of a defeated life (one that cannot overcome) is a life lived outside of the principle of divine reproduction. Again, everything within His Kingdom is of Life (Zoe) bearing substance. Everything! Practically speaking, it means that only the prayers that are born of the Spirit will get results, and only the works that have been born of Christ will succeed, and only faith born of HIM will prevail. Nothing else will overcome the counter kingdom (the world)! So its not simply THAT we pray, but where we pray from, and its not THAT we believe, but from where is our faith derived (the devils believe and tremble). Here is a true saying that will help us even more. work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Phil. 2:12, 13 This is birthing; Learning to work out of us what Christ is working into us. Simply put, The Kingdom is living from the inside out! What we call the CHRISTOLIC WAY. Much more to say...
