A Church of Wells member has posted a YouTube video in which Catherine Grove — the 26-year-old woman who has been in seclusion as her parents have been trying to get her to leave the religious organization and go back to Arkansas with them — gives her testimony to the Lord and is baptized in a lake. The 20-minute video, posted Wednesday at youtube/watch?v=aZGa932_WQU&feature=share&list=UUdDFYv_tQBGg5G5nPIrX0Ew, indicates that the baptism occurred on Oct. 10. It opens with photos of church members gathered along the banks of the lake at sunset, then continues with both the church’s elders and Catherine Grove talking about her path to salvation. The video represents one the first chances for the public to see video of Catherine, who has granted two interviews to newspaper reporters — Jessica Cooley of The Lufkin News on Aug. 28 and Ben Tinsley of the Jacksonville Daily Progress on Tuesday of this week.
