A Clarification --- Not of My Beliefs --- But of My Hypothetical Suspicions. They is much we dont fully understand -- partial bits of knowledge that are incomplete coupled with suspicions in the form of hypotheses. That is how the front edge of science largely works, although most people dont realize that and think scientist just scurry around in lab coats doing whatever it is scientists do. I do not deny plausible realities may reach further then we have presently perceive, just not in any supernatural way. The supernatural is, I suspect, non-existent and more, just a historical catch-all for our then current ignorance. We have fragments of those realities at hand presently. An alternative, new existence experienced during near or actual death is an example. Our trace evidence in many of these quarters is not to be ignored. None fairly points to a supreme deity of the kind men worship. Some flights of fancy are clearly delusional. However, I suspect there is a natural structure to consciousness and something more there because we have experiences with it and pieces of it in hand now. It is becoming very slowly, broadly defined as our thinking and experiments give it structure. Many of us have experienced instantaneous and seemingly preternatural knowledge of the death of a distant loved one. Others have sensed the presence of a distant loved one very intensely. The deaths coordinate in time. The presences are concurrently felt. Something is afoot. Where in our brains to ideas come from? We suspect the subconscious which we know thinks behind our backs as it were. But just because our present knowledge is imperfect in these quarters, and we do not yet understand all the physical and neurological mechanisms involved, there is no reason to think this stuff is supernatural or some gods invisible hand is steering the ship. The Nicene Creed simply isnt helpful here. Our present natural touchstone here is the fact that subatomic particles once entangled and then hugely separated by great distance (it does not matter how much) coordinate and synchronize their movements, polarities, etc. together instantaneously -- faster than the speed of light traveling between them. Bells non-locality Theorem showed this and it has been demonstrated. and the theorem also suggests much more in this quarter. It has survived all tests of it so far. I think it is the greatest break through ever in science, dwarfing Einsteins efforts. It is a major leap forward. A major Copenhagen school of physics centers on the idea that collective consciousness controls, defines and creates all matter. That concept has gotten a major leg up from implications of Bells theorem. Neils Bohr believed that was the case, but the hydrogen bomb got more of his attention. Other scientists think the same thing. Doors are opening. It is just very early. We have not come close to fully identifying the implications of even Bells Theorem yet, nor those of the other trace evidence we have. One problem seems to be there is no money in it and the best brains in our world are otherwise occupied.
