A Composers Month - Part 1, if it was just about writing music, how easy would it be, but this month ( and we are only half way in) I have had a performance in the US,Mailed out the special price folk song offer, Had orders for music from Ladies choirs in the UK and US, sent out the Good Doctors blast free copies and review copies, revised some clarinet pieces for a UK Publisher,sent more free samples, orchestrated the first movements of the Benedicite and written the third movement and been put into the classic fm hall of fame listings, rehearsed the Masterworks, Heritage singers and Leeds Male voice choir and am midway in planning the Heritage singers May tour and will have attended this years first meeteing with the National association of Choirs executive council and finally planned the colleges social media campaign, it is at times frustrating, exciting, full of promise, varied and one thing is for sure,never dull!!
