A Comprehensive Path to National Disintegration What nobody dares to say in public The United States of America has been one great nation, with liberty and justice for all, for many decades and we, the citizens who have enjoyed its benefits, must and will always be thankful for that. The year 2013, however, stands a good chance to go down in our country’s history as the point where brazen, thoughtless, political expediency and lack of vision brought about the seeds and opened a path for its disintegration and eventual ruin. The United States is indeed a country of immigrants and it has benefitted and been enriched greatly from that influx. But those immigrants of the past entered in a controlled fashion, legally and properly documented; and the variety of their national backgrounds made their cultural assimilation a simpler and predictable conclusion. However, now it is not possible to continue to ignore the fact that for the last several decades the United States has been literally invaded by millions upon millions of aliens who have entered into or remained in our country in violation of federal law. A prior attempt was made in 1986 to resolve that problem by granting amnesty to those aliens who were here illegally. A much greater number than expected did apply and eventually became lawful permanent residents despite the flood of fraudulent documentation they presented. Sadly, although it should have been foreseen, this did nothing but act as a lure for the more than a dozen million more aliens who are now present in our country in violation of the law. In a marked contrast with historic, legal immigrants, the overwhelming majority of the current ones represent only one ethnic and cultural group, thus the current political pressure and support by domestic Hispanic organizations to once again take those many millions out of the shadows of illegal immigration status, and the callous, expedient move by the Democrat Party to promote this issue for its own political advantage REGARDLESS OF ITS IMPACT AND FORESEEABLE CONSEQUENCES TO OUR NATION. The tragic history and events in other nations with similar cultural divisions in its population should remind us that the United States will also not be able to survive as a viable entity in years to come if it is made up of more than one large but different ethnic-cultural group. There already are a number of organizations – from within the Congress itself down to local levels - whose sole purpose is to promote and foster Hispanic interests even when those interests conflict with the law or the nation’s cultural homogeneity. The “Melting Pot” is a stew that, when properly blended, results in a digestible and tasty treat, but it cannot succeed, and will likely ferment, when the ingredients become disproportionate and intent only in fostering their own unique and distinctive final product. Immigration is what sooner or later defines what a nation becomes. Let us make sure we do it correctly and NOT for the purpose of temporary political advantage.
