A Devotional. Ephesians 6:12-14 suggests a different kind of war. Seldom referred too, our enemy Satan looks for a means to diminish our hope and cloud our view. Here are four key ways Satan disrupts. 1. Casual Contact: The small, seemingly insignificant things the enemy uses to gain a foothold in our thought life and behavior. 2. Caustic Conflict: The misunderstandings happening between people that creates a division. 3. Crippling Emotions: The fear, insecurity, and jealousy that we all battle at one time or another. 4. Confused Identity: Basing who we are as followers of Jesus on external accomplishments rather than what Jesus has already accomplished for us through his death and resurrection. 5. Constant Temptation: The temporary pleasures we are tempted with that only, in the end, steals our peace. Consider and plan for these things to be a part of your spiritual war. How are you combating their influence today? Pastor Adam
