A. FrankNitty II - Please stop! Listen up black people, critics dont make the world go around. Have you ever heard that phrase, What you eat dont make me s#@! This applies to this and more. I love to read reviews and hear average people try to criticize from their prospective....LOL! How many times have you reviewed movies and others told you before you viewed them they were no good but you enjoyed them. The movie industry is built on numbers meaning how much was made at the box office. Did you ever think about the economy being in the current state its in? Call me crazy, but that could be the reason. Did you ever think about Mr. Perry being a Black director and majority of his supporters are Black. I dont need to explain the financial state of the urban community. Of course, the movie didnt bring in as much money; people are broke on the verge of being on the streets. When commenting, you should add more than two sentences to express your thoughts maybe it will add value. Mr. Perry has done an awesome job! He did something most of us dreamed of. Then to take it further, he created jobs for the up and coming actors, filming staff, and etc. Evil will never stop! PS. This is a reality check for some of you, you can tell which ones I talking about. B. Sometimes us writers get caught in a comfort zone of creativity and not allowing the new ideas to filter in, which ultimately hinders our ability to grow in our craft. C. No one chooses to be single. You could be married for years & then suddenly find yourself divorced. Hell,you could be married & still be in the role of a single mother. D. The world is not tired of Woody Allen, Spike Lee, Steven Speilberg, John Hughes, Mel Brooks, Ang Lee, John Carpenter, Francis Ford Coppola, George Lucus, Brian De Palma, James Cameron not to mention c. Eastwood and Mel Gibson. T.P. has shifted to an uncomfortable zone, the movie where he a wealthy man - the CEO of his company and he fell in love with a housekeeper who cleaned the offices in the building he occupied. He played a movie where he was a cop - remember? Dont you get it by now? The media CRUCIFIED M.J. for his LOVE of kid; because of his desire to give to some kids the childhood he never had. The media is POWERFUL but it is NOT as powerful as the TRUTH! 99.5% of what the MEDIA reports is either BOGUS, DECEIVABLE, ALTERED, TRANSFORMED and or outright LIES. Strange how they now want us to believe Pastor Dr. MLK often visited brothels! Ok, anything is Possible, but IF it is true - it does NOT CHANGE nor ALTER what he DID and how he tried to bring the world together via PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATIONS N MARCHES. One other point, NO ONE will ALWAYS have a BOX OFFICE HIT with EVERY ONE of their BABIES. < : ] my smile.
