A Friday Flow coming at ya! Lots of core strength vinyasa in this warrior II into high lunge into a half lift balance. My girls have a love/hate of this one b/c it burns so good :) I love setting up most of my standing postures now using the Foundation, Core, Expression principals of core strength vinyasa. They allow your movements to become more efficient and fluid. It has been hard to break some bad form habits though such as lifting my head up and tipping it back in cobra...which breaks the fascial chain that runs along the back thus compromising other areas and also makes you hang off your sternocleidomastoid muscles on the sides of your neck. I strongly suggest adjusting your head/gaze within your yoga postures to looking straight ahead versus up...its really a neck/shoulder saver and less compromising on the fascia!
