A Frontline Leader By adminon Sat, 25 Jan 2014 “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.” 2 Corinthians 4:16 If you are a ministry leader that serves in any capacity in the church, be encouraged. Most people don’t realize the level of spiritual warfare, opposition and persecution that leaders face. People see leadership as glamorous, not understanding the heavy responsibility it entails. If you are a first lady, God bless you, keep you and strengthen you. If you are a pastor, a prophet, a teacher, or an evangelist, God bless you, keep you and strengthen you. If you are a women’s ministry leader, God bless you, keep you and strengthen you. If you are a praise and worship leader or a children’s ministry leader, God bless you, keep you and strengthen you. You are a gift to the Body of Christ, a gift in this world and your labor of love is not in vain. God sees and will reward you greatly. Receive His strength. Receive a second-wind. Receive His quickening power. Let Him revive you. You don’t have to burn out, flesh out, give out of energy and walk away from it all. Let God minister strength to you. You may feel supernatural, but you are not a superwoman. Know when to unplug and rest. Listen to your body and do what is required to stay strong physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. You are on the frontline and you have to be strong, awake and sober. People’s lives are at stake. Don’t fall back into the old lifestyle God delivered you from. Don’t do the things you preach against. Stay faithful and keep your hands to the plow. You are not alone in the fight. There are millions of women around the world who know what you are going through and are standing on the frontline too. If you have missed it, know that God’s call on your life hasn’t changed. You are not your mistake. You are a daughter of the King. Be strengthened, encouraged, and revived! Prayer: Father God, I pray for every leader that is serving on the frontline in ministry. I rebuke the enemy and pronounce a blessing over her life, her health, her relationships, and her finances. I pray she is revived and strengthened in her inner man. I pray she receives your wisdom, listens to her body and does what is required to stay strong. I pray you help her to persevere by faith until Jesus returns for her. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. (Read 2 Peter 1:1-11)
