A GIFT OR A CURSE ITS A CHOICE THE POWER OF YOUR WORDS I am still in Proverbs as a part of my process of gaining wisdom, today I am looking at the words that come from my mouth. Sticks and may break my bones but words will never hurt me is a lie straight out of the pit of hell. I denounce that lie right now because are many people are wounded because words spoken over them even by those who they love. God is calling each us to examine ourselves and take a look at our own hearts. Sometime my words make me seem wise and sometimes foolish when I speak because of my emotions rather them my spirit, my brothers and sisters we must begin to recognize the difference between our spirit and emotions/flesh. I like you have experienced words of healing, encouragement and hateful and destructive words. There is lots of wisdom this short prayer- Psalms 19:13. Also keep back Your servant from presumptuous sins; Let them not rule over me; Then I will be blameless, And I shall be acquitted of great transgression of pride. 14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer. How many times have er spoken words that we wish we could have has back to speak them with a little more wisdom and consideration for other person involved. Now we can apologize but it is hard to take words back once they have been spoken they are much like seed once it has already been planted. But what we allow ourselves to speak is a choice so choose wisely-those who are led by Spirit shall not fulfill the works of their emotions . Proverbs 15:1 A gentle response defuses anger, but a sharp tongue kindles a raging-fire. 2 Knowledge flows like spring water from the wise; fools are leaky faucets, dripping nonsense. 3 God doesnt miss a thing— he’s watching the good and evil alike. 4 Kind words heal and help; cutting words wound and maim. 5 Immoral people won’t listen to their elders; welcoming correction is a mark of good sense. 6 The lives of God-loyal people flourish; a misspent life is soon bankrupt. 7 Perceptive words spread knowledge; but a fools words are always hollow—there’s nothing to them. 11 Even hell holds no secrets from God— do you think he can’t read human hearts?
