A MESSAGE FROM CITIZENS NATIONAL BANK: It’s tax season, and since it is that time of year again please be vigilant against any malicious e-mails you might receive related to filing taxes, potential refund issues, or even just the IRS. Things to be on the lookout for include “TO” email addresses and the recipient varying; e-mails not addressed to a specific person; and links that claim to point to the IRS website but when hovering over the link you can see it really points to a Russian website. If you receive any e-mails of this type do not click on any links or open any attachments they might contain. If you are reluctant to delete the e-mail because you feel it might be legitimate please contact your IT or Computer Support provider.
