A Magic Carpet Ride Over and Over Again by Rick Chaboudy The carpet warehouse is located in Wildwood, Florida. Around 2:00 in the morning, they load a large truck for a deliveries in the Tampa Bay area. Around 8:00 am, the delivery truck arrives at Florida Carpet and Pad Recycling in Tampa. The rolls of carpet are unloaded into the stores warehouse. The delivery truck leaves, the forklifts are shut down for the moment and things get quiet. And then there is a faint sound, the kind of sound that makes you say Quiet, did you hear that? What is that? And then they track the sound and find its coming from the inside of a roll of carpet that was just delivered. And then they discover...3 little kittens about one-week-old. So what does Florida Carpet and Pad Recycling do? They call Suncoast Animal League, drive the kitties to us and make a donation for the kittens care. This seems to be a very unusual set of circumstances and yet, this is the third time in less than a year this exact same scenario has played out.
