A Multi-Agency Approach We are developing an integrated catchment model of part of east Nottingham as part of Severn Trent Water’s current Flood Alleviation Program. The project location suffers flooding from a main river and overland highway runoff in addition to flooding from water company assets. We are working closely with the Environment Agency and Nottingham County Council to develop an Infoworks model representing all three flood water sources. We will develop an integrated solution over the next few months, co-funded by the three agencies. The UK government is promoting a multi-agency approach to flooding and, together with our client Severn Trent Water, we are at the forefront of this type of design stage partnering.
