A NEW LEARNING EXPERIENCE ARRIVES AT EUROBEST 02 October 2014 -This year, Eurobest is set to host its most interactive content programme to date. A collection of seminars, discovery stages, huddles, practicals and workshops will allow delegates to create their own experience and guide themselves on a journey of discovery. “In the year that we bring Eurobest to Helsinki, we wanted to create a learning programme that reflects current approaches to the creative process. Finland is a hotbed of technology, innovation and start-ups right now and this new content format promises a completely fresh dimension that will be truly interactive. Sessions are designed to benefit from local, international and global insights, both from speakers and from delegates, meaning that the content will be inspirational, practical and comprehensive,” says Louise Benson, Festival Director of Eurobest. The Finlandia Hall seminars will open and close each day of the Festival bringing big name speakers from across the globe. Industry leaders will use the stage to offer insights into how they ignite new ideas and challenge the old ones, whilst giving advice on how to put thinking into action. During the day, the Helsinki Hall seminars will offer a different approach with both local and international speakers discussing creativity at work. These sessions will leave delegates with the know-how needed to implement current and future trends into their work successfully. Throughout each Festival day, a series of smaller content sessions will run simultaneously with the Helsinki Hall seminars, allowing delegates the freedom to pick the area and session style that best suits their needs. The workshops will offer a true learning experience, specifically focused to help people in the communications industry. From songwriting to problem solving, these are the skill focused sessions which will leave attendees better equipped, with an enhanced set of skills. Another stream of content, the practicals, will centre heavily on interactive learning. Ranging from solving a brief in a minute to virtual reality ski jumps using Oculus Rift, these are the short, intensive sessions that encourage audience participation to really drive home new learnings. On an interactive level, the huddles will be the place to go for informal discussion. Allowing for engagement with Europe’s most creative thinkers, delegates will be encouraged to contribute and join in on the lively debates, helping to leave them with a fresh perspective. The Discovery Stage brings another new dimension to the content at Eurobest. This stage will host start up entrepreneurs, innovators and passionate thought-leaders. Delegates will benefit from insight into the latest technologies, ground-breaking innovations and exciting new creative stories from across the European creative and technology scene. Eurobest takes place across three days from 1-3 December and provides Europe’s creative industry with a place to meet, exchange ideas and learn. Alongside the Festival, the awards see entries from across Europe judged by some of the best names in the industry. The winners are announced and honoured at the Awards Ceremony in Helsinki, which draws Eurobest 2014 to a close. Information on how to be a part of Eurobest can be found at eurobest.
