The Pines Restaurant 1951-1952 Pineland, Texas Located on the north side of the square. The entrance faced south onto the square. Grand Opening was held October 18-20, 1951 with the rest of the Pineland Shopping Center. During my lifetime it has served as a restaurant, washateria, Rainbo Bread Store (Nancy Osborn), VHS Video Store (Tommy Welch), and other businesses. The roof of the hotel is visible behind it. This picture is from The Indian 1952, Pineland High Schools Yearbook for 1951-1952.
