A Nagar Keertan and Gurmat Samagam is being organized on 2nd October 2013 at Gurudwara Moti Bagh Sahib Patiala to mark the day when Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji visited this place. When Sri GURU TEG BAHADUR SAHIB Ji started his journey towards Delhi to sacrifice himself to safeguard hindu religion, he came here in 1732(Bikrami) via Kiratpur Sahib, Bharatgarh Sahib, Kabulpur etc. Saint Saif Ali Khan was great follower of GURU SAHIB, To fullfill his wish GURU SAHIB came to his Place Saifabad (Bahadur Garh). Guru Ji stayed here for 3 Months.After proceeding from Bahadur Garh Guru Ji came to this place on 17 Assu (2nd Oct) where currently Gurudwara Moti Bagh Sahib is situated. Guru Ji took rest for some time this place. From here Guru Ji left towards Samana, From here Guru Ji left towards Samana and stayed in the Haveli of Muhamad Bakhsish. From there onwards Guru Ji left towards Cheeka Via Karhali, Balbera. On 29th September a medical camp is being organized by Columbia Asia hospital and Centre for Sight Group of Hospitals in the morning providing free medical checkup and advices “DHARAM HET SAAKA JIN KIA” a Punjabi play on the martyrdom of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji will be staged in the evening on 29th September in the Gurudwara Sahib Campus . On 2nd of October a nagar keertan will be organized from Gurudwara Bahadurgarh Sahib to Gurudwara Moti Bagh Sahib and a Gurmat Samagam in the evening at Gurudwara Moti Bagh Sahib. For conservation of environment free plants will be distributed by an NGO PEFA on the 2 nd oct eve We Request attend the samagams to seek the blessings of Guru Ji
