A New Years thought for you.... With luck, mankinds curiosity, sense of fun and adventure, and reason will stay ahead of our more foolish, frightened and selfish side. My question for humanity in the 21st century -- which others will answer -- is whether we will become more human or revert to being more primate. We cannot, one by one, solve the big issues. But paradoxically they can only be solved by each of us striving, one by one, to make the world more loving, more reasonable, more generous, kinder -- through our daily interactions, by interacting even with the most difficult with love rather than hate, through small acts of kindness to other people, to animals, to the planet. These acts, as well as our negative acts, ripple out in the world. So, its up to us, every day. And every new day, every new year, we have another opportunity to take those tiny steps that are the only way to save our species. And maybe our planet. Are you up for it? Theres nothing more important.
