A Poem in Passing I almost feel guilty for being left here I thought I’d go first. I thought we had longer. Did I take it for granted? I don’t think I did. I cherished each and every moment you were here. I could never forget about everything we went through. Painted bodies and summer nights Bloody noses and hallway fights. You always had my back, still do. In life and death you watch over me. Protecting me. You’ve become my guardian angel. You’re still my best friend. Nothing could change that. No distance, no space, nothing. Not even the chasm That spans between this life and the next. You made me a better person. Whether it was with your Laughter and your jokes, or the solid advice that left your throat. You may have passed from this life before me But I will one day follow and we will be reunited. Together again. Partners in crime and brothers in love. I will always miss you and hate that you had to go But soon we’ll be Heaven’s “MoJo.” Thank you Dallas Conn
