A Query by Rodney McCoy Jr. Looking to prove somebody wrong with a little help from your community if you can help let me know please, heres my situation: I have two power supplies with an output of 13.8 volts each, Each power supply controls an item, what we are trying to achieve is that if one power supply fails it automatically switches over to the other working power supply I understand this can be done easily with two dpdt relays tied together, that is not the issue the issue is being told that this is the only way it can be done. I am a firm believer that theres multiple ways for something to be done and I would just like to disprove someone. Weather be by microprocessor or some other form I know there has to be a way for it to be done excluding couple hundred dollar machines that do it automatically Thanks in advance.
