A REJOINDER TO WALE ODUSOLAS FACEBOOK POSTING ON BENSON - TopicsExpress

A REJOINDER TO WALE ODUSOLAS FACEBOOK POSTING ON BENSON ENIKUOMEHIN AND AKIN SOWORE: BEFORE WALE ODUSOLA DISTORTS HISTORY: I have read the diatribe filled with disappointment and frustration by Wale Odusola, a die hard Iroko apologist in the way he tried to call Benson Enikuomehin and Akin Sowore betrayers because according to him, the duo worked for PDP against LP in the just inconclusive bye election. I am not concerned about whether the allegation is true or not but only intend to put the record straight as follows: 1. In 2003-2008, it is not true that Enikuomehin was not given appointment by Agagu. The truth is that Enikuomehin was an S.A to Agagu until he resigned to contest the position of National Legal adviser of PDP with Olusola Oke. 2. As soon as that party executive position election was over, a reconciliation meeting was called to return Enikuomehin to his position as S.A to Agagu but he refused to come back apparently because he has been highjacked by Mimiko who was then in court for his mandate. 3. As soon as Court declared Mimiko, Enikuomehin was one of the first moles( because he claimed to still be in PDP) then that was jumping from one TV station to another to justify Mimiko and some of his illegal decisions then. 4. Enikuomehin was one of the moles in PDP that made it possible for Mimiko to penetrate Abuja PDP as he and his LP were then referred to as PDP 2 by the then National Chairman of PDP, Vincent Ogbulafor who was monthly collecting running grant from Ondo State LP Government. 5. Based on the dirty jobs, Mimiko decided to compensate Benson Enikuomehin with NDDC appointment and that board was dissolve on the ground of high level corruption. 6. After the dissolution and when the board was to be reconstituted, Mimiko came with his usual crafty politics and pushed the name of Enikuomehin again, just to facially satisfy him but clandestinely went behind him to nail him before the security as he failed security screening before the Senate Committee on NDDC. He replaced him with one Barr. Amuwa who was also said to have K-Leg but Mimiko threw his wait and lobbied for the clearance. This was against the interest of Ondo State PDP that also submitted its own list. 7. Enikuomehin being a brilliant person is aware of all these moves and have never forgiven Mimiko hence his resolve to go back to PDP now that PDP crisis in Ondo State is over. He has decided to retire from dirty jobs. 8. It is not true that Olushola Oke wrote petition against Enikuomehin. Mimiko is the beginning and the end of Enikuomehins problem as per NDDC appointment. This fact is well known to Enikuomehin hence his decision to return home. 9. Enikuomehin also complained that he did not enjoy his first term in NDDC as he was merely there physically but he only enjoyed 35% of the economic benefit accruable as the remaining 65% was pledge on terms with his oga at the top. 10. Sowore who was S.A to Enikuomehin is naturally loyal to his boss and remained eternally grateful to Agboola Ajayi who made him, hence his decision to return home. 11. Wale Odusola also lied when he said in his passage that Akinjo/LP have won the election. As I write this rejoinder, the election is inconclusive! Supplementary election will hold next Saturday to determine the winner. I wish to use this medium to welcome Barr. Enikuomehin and Sowore back home from one man party(LP). PDP Leaders in Ondo State have settled their scores and the party is now one big united family. Trading blames as contained in Wale Odusolas post is none issue. No Victor, no Vanguished. We are now singing the victory song ijadopin ogun si tan, olugbala jagunmolu, orin ayo lao mako, Haleluuuuuya! No place like home.
