A School Mum has asked: My 9 year old daughter has sensory processing disorder. She has had issues with food most of her young life. She has a small group of foods she eats and it is virtually impossible to get her to venture outside that group to try new foods. I am concerned for her health.....as most of the foods are breads, potato products ....some chicken but no fruit or veg or red meat. If she is forced to eat something new....she gags and throws up....I dont want to pressure her and have this happen. She is not a fussy eater - it is a disorder. Does anyone have children with this disorder or have genuine advice on how I can introduce new foods to my daughter? Thank you
