A State House truck arrived at the property in Chintheche last week with personal items of the outgoing President and her family. However, state items believed to have been stolen from State House were included in the cargo. The truck had a driver and one State House security officer. At Kamuzu Palace State House in Lilongwe, the truck was packed in the absence of the security officer and the driver and was only informed to leave for the journey to Nkhatabay the following day.
