What is the importance of the Arewa Consultative Forum? What is the importance of the Northern Elders Forum? No serious Northern Nigerian journalist has been able to track down Shekau to ask him whats his problem? I say Journalists because some of my colleagues are obviously sympathetic to this whole Boko Haram thing because they have deliberately refused to tell the truth and manufacture false truth. They have turned their people against JTF and all that and the Nigerian Military is as hated, in fact more hated than Boko Haram. I have seen people celebrate when Boko Haram attack the Nigerian military. So, the emirs, the opinion leaders, politicians, cannot talk to Boko Haram, and they complain and whine over anything and everything the government is doing over Boko Haram. I am disappointed, really disappointed, with Northern Emirs, religious leaders, youths, and all the noise makers in the North.
