A TIME TO STAND WITH THE PRESIDENT... Without beating a dead - TopicsExpress

A TIME TO STAND WITH THE PRESIDENT... Without beating a dead horse, let us agree that the Americans are not coming for the Love of Africa, Nigeria and Nigerians. Strategically, this acceptance of invitation to assist, by the Americans, is not as charitable as the diplomatic soundbites would have you or I believe. BUT we must accept it at this time because it is expedient to do so. Let us also agree that what has necessitated this, and without fear or favour, has been our own inability to handle our Internal affairs and own Security. You wish to argue otherwise, please do that elsewhere. Simply put; Regardless of the Cause/s, the Sponsor/s or the Culprit/s yet to be proven... Houston We Have A Problem. The Devil has taken one side of the pitch and on the other side lies the Deep Blue Sea. Whilst we have shown we cannot fight the Devil adequately and whilst we cannot sit back and watch him consume innocent Nigerians on a daily basis, we must take a plunge into the Deep Blue Sea. The President has made a decision. I believe that decision is the only one on the table and that is to fight this with help. The only help offered has come from the British and the Americans. Mr. President has chosen to play ball. WE must be the Biggest and Loudest cheerleaders. Though often misconstrued, the #BringBackOurGirls campaign has been strictly apolitical and a Humanitarian Cause. It has been about the Girls. It has been about Whosoever, Whenever, Wherever and However they became Pawns central to what turned out to be a National embarrassment in the full glare of the world, to Return Them. To those still seeking answers to their Cynical Curiosity, mainly driven by an objective of pinning this on someone and preferably an opposition entity or individuals on either side, May their days be Long enough to witness the victorious return of the Girls and the Forces deployed to get them back. I am certain the girls will entertain their curiosities at such a time. To them I say, continue with the political bickering, WE as a Nation are busy at the Moment. In the meantime, all other well-meaning Nigerians who have the other Nigerian at Heart and have greater genuine concern for both the Girls as Human Beings and the Nation as a Whole and its Security as paramount, we MUST STAND with the President and the Forces engaged in this battle. The question of the Approach, Timelag and Capacity I think have been answered albeit tacitly or cunningly in a bid to avoid ridicule. Those questions should now be relegated for future debates I would suggest. Unless ofcourse if it benefits you more to maintain the push in that direction as probably directed. Again I say, WE as a Nation are Busy at the Moment.. IT IS TIME TO STAND AS A NATION AGAINST THE PERPETRATORS OF TERROR ON OUR PEOPLE! Mr. President, Sir, Lets Go There!!! #BringBackOurGirls
