A Treatise on Islam and why many Muslims have rejected it Part 14 THE GOOD NEWS OF GRACE I believe Jesus is the Son of El-Elyon. Once I believe in Jesus, I become His sibling, and El-Elyon becomes my father (Abba) and I receive and accept permanent and irrevocable right standing and salvation forever (Galatians 3:26-27). Abba will send the Holy Spirit (Paraclete) to dwell within me and guide me to focus on Jesus in my decisions. The Holy Spirit will never leave me nor forsake me forever. Abba will not insist that I worship Him five times a day nor will he require me to go on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem in order to maintain right standing with Him and to preserve my salvation. I worship my maker because I am grateful for His mercy and grace for saving me even though I do not deserve to be saved (Romans 3:23). I praise Him and pay homage to Him because I want to do so, not because I have to do so. I believe I will never lose my status as the beloved of my Abba (Father) forever no matter what I do or don’t do after I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior (Romans 3:22).
