A Trip w Arena Rock: Traveling Home w More Rock By: me On our way back home, traveling up a Mountain, our vehicles Motörhead blew. We knew our ole friends Ted Nugent and the Doobie Bros. were hunting nearby. We got in touch w them and they gave us an address to the Allman Bros. Dealership. It was on Eagles st. between Crosby, Stills, Nash,Young attorneys at law and Emerson,Lake,Palmer funeral home. And If we got to the Van Halen tattoo shop; we went too far. We hitched a ride w three women; Joan, Pat and one they called Blondie. We walked into the office and told the guy behind the desk we needed something cheap to get us home. He loudly ask the guy in the back, We still have that Fleetwood Mac? The other yelled back, You mean the one thats Pink Floyd? We made the deal and headed down the road. Before we could get otta town we got stopped by The Police. He walked to the window w his hand on his .38 Special. He told us he was looking for a pink Cadillac w an Aerosmith sticker, just like ours. It was reported to belong to a Motley Crue called Lynyrd Skynyrd and their sidekick Blackfoot. We asked The Who? He had a Warrant for their arrest and was going to send them to Skid Row. He said, I take it you boys arent from around here. We agreed, Yes! He said we were Free to go. So we cranked up AC/DC and hit the road like A Bat Out of Hell! (Just had to get Meatloaf in here somehow!)
