****** A WORLD OF CHAOS ****** ********************************* ****** PRE-FACE ****** *********************** A world of chaos is a poem I wrote to illustrate the chaotic place that we so lovingly call mother earth. It is a story about a man who has lived a selfish life, a life where you only look out for yourself PERIOD! He rationalizes these actions by how he perceives the rest of the human race. He views all humanity as self consuming, self absorbed and in a word “EVIL”. He watches as day after day people murder, rape and pillage anything and everyone. He struggles as he finally comes to terms with the fact that the human race is not the problem “HE IS”. He can no longer use this crutch that has aided him for so many years, and is forced to look deep down inside his own soul for answers. Finally he chooses to confront the man in the mirror, and after some tough questions are answered, his chaotic life finally becomes and oasis of peace… Sincerely Carl E Simpson-Russell
