A beautiful friend of mine just brought up a rare movie called The Visitor from 1979 starring Shelly Winters. Its a very strange horror film that doesnt play by the rules, or seems to follow a set narrative. Another film like this, that immediately comes to mind, is, The Johnsons, from 1992. This too is equally bizarre (!) and grounded with its own far out logic. Just like in The Visitor, both films concern young women who seem to be connected to strange forces. The Johnsons is definitely something to seek out. It has a Halloween 3: Season of the Witch kind of vibe. Low-budget, over the top, but completely cool and colorful. :)
