A cold Canadian high pressure system will usher in some of the coolest temperatures weve seen so far this season with many locations expected to bottom out in the mid to upper 30s. A Frost Advisory has been posted in Tompkins County, where frost is most likely to occur, although patchy frost will still be possible across the rest of the viewing area. Mostly sunny skies are likely on Friday, and even though temperatures will start out in the 30s, were expecting a 5 Degree Guarantee of 67. The warming trend will continue into the weekend as breezy conditions develop out of the south. Cloudy skies on Saturday will mix with limited sunshine with highs in the mid 70s. Our next cold front will bring scattered showers our way on Sunday with highs in the lower 70s. Well begin the new workweek with cooler temperatures with highs on Monday struggling to reach 60. More lower 60s are likely on Tuesday, but temperatures are expected to rise closer to seasonal averages by the end of the week.
