A complex patter taking shape over NorCal this weekend with a broad upper level low developing to our west in combination with the persistent area of high pressure over the SW US which has been responsible for the steady flow of monsoonal air for the last week. Tstorms will fire up again over the high country and today we will see the most widespread activity that we have seen all week. By Monday the southern flow will get cut off and the Tstorm threat will end. In the meantime, here in the foothills, we will see increasing clouds later today and mostly cloudy skies tonight. Partly cloudy Sunday and cooler as a weak disturbance moves through. Highs today in the upper 80s with low to mid 80s tomorrow. There is a very teeny slight chance of a light sprinkle during the period, but this will not be a wetting rain at all -- just a spritz to make your car look really dirty. Slight chance of spill-over later today and this evening from the Sierra Tstorms as well. Could hear some rumbling and see some flashes. With the significant chance of more widespread Tstorms Im packing the tent and headed to the high country to see if I can get a repeat of the Thurs. standing ovation performance. Ill be off the grid until late Monday. See you then and enjoy the weekend!
