A couple fire safety reminders for today: First, check your smoke alarm when you set your clocks back tonight. Push the test button to make sure it works, and remember that smoke alarms over 10 years old need to be replaced. Second, this week is Forest Groves city wide cleanup event. If you are a Waste Management customer, you may leave up to six extra bags of garbage at the curb to pickup, and then next Saturday you can dump bully waste for free at their Transfer Station on B Street. This is a great time to remove the clutter thats a fire hazard around your home.
