A couple people commented to me recently that I must be glad this year is over... and yes, on paper I guess it could look like it was kind of a crappy year for me. But that fact really hadnt even occurred to me. I was unemployed at the beginning of the year, and now I have a job that I wish was a better job , but for the most part I like the people I work with and the work Im doing now is much less stressful than what I was doing when I started. I met and got pictures and autographs from two WWE Hall of Fame Legends, and saw my favorite wrestler play live with his band in a small club venue. I played one of my lifetime dream roles of Thenardier in Les Miserables in a fantastic production along side one of my best friends and shared the stage with a a great mentor and friend... Just the fact that someone at some point said yeah, Steep is good enough to hold his own on stage with Roger Amm and the rest of this cast... was pretty mind-blowingly amazing. I tapped into my Viking roots and discovered that curling is fricking awesome... (cant wait to go again this week!) I reconnected with some friends I really missed and made new friends that I really like. I started doing something else that I cant talk about because the first rule of Fightclub is you dont talk about fi... oh wait. crap. I was relatively healthy for most of the year... So, yeah... I dont feel like I had a crappy year. I may have had a major plot twist, but Im still excited to see how the book ends. So thank you to all my friends and everyone who has given me support this year, I wish you the happiest of New Years.
