Not a very short read, but definitely worth it. “Identity is something that you are constantly earning,” Joss Whedon observed in his fantastic Wesleyan commencement address on our inner contradictions, adding: “It is a process that you must be active in.” The young-old polarization and the male-female polarization are perhaps the two leading stereotypes that imprison people.
